Our Story
In 2022, Alex and Sophie wanted to garden with their friends, but struggled to find a space to do it. They tried joining a community garden, but wait times were up to 7 years! Luckily, they eventually found garden spaces, with one located all the way in Lacolle – which was not exactly convenient. They realized that there had to be a better way. After the season was done, they decided to create their own solution for the next season.
And so in 2023, our business Cultiville was born! Our province-wide platform’s goal to connect people who want to garden with homeowners willing to rent out their unused space.
Our mission
We believe that everyone deserves access to green spaces. We want to make gardening accessible to everyone, no matter where they live.
Sharing resources and knowledge is key to building strong and resilient communities. That’s why we’re all about connecting like-minded folks and helping them reimagine what local food production can look like. By empowering others to grow their own food, we’re redefining what it means to be food responsible.
Gardening is a great way to connect with others and stay active. We’re so proud to be part of a movement that’s making it easier for people to live healthier and happier lives. Because, at the end of the day, healthy communities start with healthy people.
